Hell – UK

Biography

In today’s genre-obsessed world of ‘me-too’ metal, there aren’t too many bands who can genuinely be classed as unique. HELL were one of the original dark metal pioneers from the late 1980’s – but the band’s music and image remains as innovative, disturbing and relevant today, as it was extraordinary and ground-breaking back then. Combining extreme theatrics with a black, subversive take on all things metal, a live HELL show is something which once experienced, is never forgotten. They look like no-one else. They sound like no-one else. The band is currently working on the third chapter of their twisted musical journey – a follow-up to 2011’s successful ‘Human Remains’ and 2013’s ‘Curse & Chapter’ albums – both released through Nuclear Blast, and both of which received huge critical acclaim including ‘Album Of The Year’ awards in numerous major magazines including Sweden Rock, Rock Hard, Metal Hammer and Aardschok. The band has toured extensively supporting such legends as Accept, Amon Amarth, Carcass, Arch Enemy, Kreator and Saxon – and has played some of the biggest festivals in Europe and Scandinavia.
